We have just had a lengthy conversation with a parent about portfolios, she was very concerned that she would be not getting a portfolio this year.
Basically, and so you know... Kinderloop has always shared the educator view that portfolios are exhausting to produce and often not fully appreciated.
When a child is archived, parents can still login and see a digital history of their child's time in your service, thus the need for a printed portfolio is reduced.
We are currently in discussion with both Milk and Snapfish to link with them to allow family to print mementos of their child's images and will keep you posted on the outcome.
In the meantime, if a parent really wants a physical version of their child's Kinderloop, can we suggest you login online, go to your settings > options and switch on the option for linked family to be able to print their child's posts.
Trust this helps with any tricky questions you may get. (A parent helpsheet i
