If you sent a message without tagging any children in the top level, the post will go to all families in the centre. If you post in the group level without tagging any children, the post will go to all families of children in that group and only them. At any level, if you tag a child/ren then only the linked parents of those tagged children will see the post. Of course, if you untick the 'send to parents' box at any time, the post remains private and only you and your staff can see it...
